The Haywood Institute is currently seeking entry-level and experienced therapists to provide home-based treatment to our clients using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Haywood Institute offers:

Responsibilities:

• Serve as primary interventionist in the education/treatment of children & adolescents with autism.
• Implement treatment plans to support acquisition of social, communication, academic and daily

• living skills.
• Assist with assessment and implementation of behavior management plans; record and help
• analyze data on a daily basis.
• Participate in group and individualized training meetings on a regular basis.
• Qualifications:
• Friendly and outgoing with a passion for helping clients achieve their true potential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated, creative, and dependable.
• Comfortable working with children/adolescents who display behavior challenges.
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred and is required for some clients. Alternatively, we may be able to
• consider candidates who have completed a minimum of 48 college semester credits.
• Coursework in psychology, applied behavior analysis, or early education preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver license.

Availability:

• Specific schedules will depend upon coordinating client's and employee's availability
• Part-Time positions: Services occur weekdays from 3-6pm. Approx 6 hours per week
• Intent to remain invested in the position for a minimum of one year.

Locations:

• Opportunities to serve one or more clients in communities such as Fort Valley or Warner Robins.

Benefits / Compensation:

• Pay range $15 - $16 per hour dependent upon experience and education (starting at $14/hr
• without BA)
• Pay for travel time and mileage reimbursement (between job sites).
