Internal consistency measures correlation between different items on the same test.Foe eg if a person agrees with the statement' I like to ride bicycle 'and disagree with 'I hate bicycles', this is a good internal consistency of the test.

Job analysis is a process to collect information about the job.It provides information about job performed and work environment.Job analysis also tells the skill, kowledge etc which is needed to perform the work better.

Job evaluation allows an organisation to take proper decision on recruiting people,retention of employees and compensation given to employees.Job evaluation is helpful for the employee and the organisation.

5 common methods of job evaluation are ,

Ranking methods which ranks job on its value in relation to others. Grading method in which job characteristics are graded to know the skill required,Point factor method identifies factors that add value to the job,Factor comparison method which identifies skill, working condition, responsibility etc.

Internally consistent compensation system is comparing every job in the same company with the rest of the jobs found in that company.It is based on the principle that jobs which require more education, demands more responsibility,performs more hard duties, offer high pay than others.This may decrease a company's flexibility to change according to changes that take place in competitors pay structure.
