Internally consistent compensation system is comparing every job in the same company with the rest of the jobs found in that company.It is based on the principle that jobs which require more education, demands more responsibility,performs more hard duties, offer high pay than others.This may decrease a company's flexibility to change according to changes that take place in competitors pay structure.
