(Answer) ‘Best Practices’ are a set of ethics, guidelines and rules that a company follows. These precepts are generally set by using all of the tools and resources that are at a company’s disposal.

Research has proved that ‘Best Practices’ have proven to be the most successful methodology in achieving business and ethical goals.

The ‘Best Practices’ that are set by any organisation would generally entail the use of all the technology and knowledge that a company would have at its disposal.

Sometimes, being resourceful would mean hiring a diverse workforce. There is no denying that each race and ethnicity has their own strengths and skills. When the company’s requirements are considered, they are generally matched with the kind of personnel that could best fit the requirements. For instance, an agro-based industry like “Heinz” would hire MBAs who come from farming backgrounds to handle their market research in tomatoes and ketchup production.

The potential benefits of adopting the ‘Best Practice’ technique is that the right problem finds the right solution. A company would not be bound by any other oath or practice but would rather have to stick to practices that would yield the best result.

Often times, ‘Best Practices’ encourages diversity in the workplace as a varied workforce has more attributes than one that isn’t. This becomes difficult to practice when companies are unable to practice their motto through things like touch immigration laws and government restrictions.
