The reason of the stress is sometimes our inability to manage our time which causes stress to us, there are multiple techniques available to use our time in effective manner so to help us to come out of such stress and I have explained some of those time management techniques that can help will to reduce the stress:

  • Set a goal for yourself and allot time to it – first task in order to reduce your stress is to plan goals for you, hourly goals, daily goals, weekly goals or monthly goals. As you think it will fit you, generally weekly goals are preferable so that you can track your progress at the end of every week to take necessary corrective actions. Once goals is set than it is important to set dedicated time slot for each of these goals so that you don’t loose anytime on thinking, setting up a dedicated time also helps to avoid any surprises, you know what you need to do next. By doing this, it will help you to give some structure to your life and help to manage your time properly
  • Keep a track of how you spent your time – once you have set up weekly goals and timelines, it will be interesting to track how you planned and what actually you end up doing. It will help you to study the pattern of how you behave and what causes you stress. How much time you have planned to do high priority task but how much you actually have spent on those. This will help to plan for what action you need to take to set a balance in your life and also to work towards a better future where there will be less stress
  • Stick to plan – It is important to stick to plan set by you for your daily work, so to avoid wasting any time to it. If you follow a schedule set by you, this will give you motivation to complete each and every task in time so that you can move to next step.
  • Overcome procrastination – don’t delay the thing, whenever you encounter any situation plan for those situation and act as per plan. As a human we often delay the things to until last minute which in the end pool up lot of pending work and causes us stress.

There are various consequences which arise due to job dissatisfaction, some of them are as follows:

  • Mood swings – people who are not happy with their current job often have mood swing issues, when things are out of control, their personal life also get impacted due to this. They are likely to have such problems where one areas is impacting their overall behavior
  • Feeling that you does not belong to that place – when we are not happy with our current roles, we often get a feeling that everyone is enjoying working here except me, it feels like I does not belong to this believe, this does not matches to my belief system and how I do the things.
  • Feeling helpless – When we are dissatisfied to our job where we spent most of time, we often get a feeling that that something is not right but still we are not able to do anything to this situation and this is one of worst situation to be in, where you lose control on your mind

I think some of below are important trends that are leading to an increasingly diverse workplace

  • Globalization of the business – due to competitive nature of global business which we are in today’s world we get to work with different set of workgroup with in company which leads to diverse workplace where different people work differently and have different way to respond to the things. Company has to also work with different clients to meet the demand of competition, all of this leads to diverse workplace.
  • Changing demographics – As company now operates in global environment where we have people who belong to different ethnic group, age group, speak different language, religion, all of such people come together to achieve same goals, this change in demographics are leading to very difference workforce

Please find below four properties of emotions:

  • Emotions is infectious – one of the feature of emotion is that way we express our emotions impact the other party feelings
  • Expression of emotions is universal. – Feeling of how emotions are expressed are universal, we don’t require any language to understand the other person emotions
  • Culture determines how and when people express emotions – our emotions are shaped by the way we raised as young adult, our culture helps to put up strong foundation on our emotions and how it shaped up
  • Emotions are based on situations – our emotions also get impacted by the situation we have faced in our life, some people are more expressive to their emotions and some are emotion less
