In considering the four ideological bases for global health work that are discussed in this week's material (human rights; social justice; charity; securitization), which do you feel is most valuable in justifying global health interventions? Does this ideology align with your values? Would it matter for you that your organization shared your values if you chose to work in global health?
In considering the four ideological bases for global health work that are discussed in this week's material (human rights; social justice; charity; securitization), which do you feel is most valuable in justifying global health interventions?
I feel most valuable in justifying global health is Human rights.
What's Human rights?
These are the basic rights and liberation that belong to everyone in this world, irrespective of your country, belief and how you choose to live.the major highlights are shared values like equality, dignity, respect and independence.
Does this ideology align with your values?
Indeed it does, because human rights and global health go hand in hand.it including health, cultural, education and social aspects.
Would it matter for you that your organization shared your values if you chose to work in global health?
I would consider it as an achievement for myself because it shows that the ideas I presented has worth sharing. If my organisation shares my values it could make me motivated to study more on human rights that come in handy in our daily lives.
