Solutions

Expert Solution

Firstly consciousness is that state of mind where we are aware of our actions and reactions ,where as emotions are the reactions or response to an object or a situation ,based on or tied to physical state and sensory data. Now the question is how emotions are interrelated with consciousness.Dealing with emotions is really a tough challenge for us ,expecially when we need to take some decision and we need a conscious mind to deal with that situation. On that time we fight with two front lines ,first i.e  to curb our emotions and second to think critically and logically to overcome our emotions to take an adequate decision. We all suffers from favorable or unfavourable conditions ,if our emotions are imbalanced then our consciousness will turn to sub consciousness that can effect our mind and actions. How they are interrelated with each other is discussed below :

Consciousness Under the Influence of Emotions

We people face a set of emotions like  embarrassment, jealousy, empathy as well as shame, guilt, hubris and pride.Embarrassment is a complex emotion that first emerges when self awareness allows for the idea of “me.”It occurs when the attention of others started bothering us .Empathy also emerges when we place himself/herself in the role of the other and start behaving according to it.Jealousy also appears when we are capable of knowing that another has what she/he wants and allowing our mind to think good or bad about it.So the matter is ,how the emotions makes changes in our actions that automatically awares us to react on situations .

How the emotions are influenced by our consciousness

Every problem begins when consciousness loses its distance from emotional facts. If our emotions are strong then neither any kind of situation can disturb our mind nor our reactions can let us ruin our life.e. In this non-problematic situation, the human being as a rational subject keeps a kind of distance from extra-rational factors. Additionally, the will power also plays a very significant role in handling our emotions .It is only up to us to how to behave towards any circumstances. If our mind is consciously working then our emotions will also behave strongly.

Increased female employment was associated with both low-paid insecure work (retail, hospitality) and high-paid secure work (education, health care). Since 2010, we have seen major steps to improve female employment – unpaid paternity leave of...

1. We discussed in the lecture that the coronavirus is both an AS and AD shock. Based on the lecture, draw a graph showing both of the movements. You need a properly drawn graph as you did for homework 4. Update for clarity: For this question, we’re only capturing the effect of the virus itself. Don’t assume there are any particular policies associated with these shocks. It’s probably easiest to think of the AS shock as the reduced labor force...

Consider the field experiment with politicians that we discussed in the lecture. The experiment is based on a modified dictator game. In Treatment 1 (i.e. T1), nature plays with high probability (equal to 0.8) and randomly assigns the endowment either to the politician-dictator or to the recipient. The politician--dictator plays with complementary probability (and knows, when making a decision, that this decision will be implemented); in contrast, a recipient who receives zero (or the full endowment), will not know whether...
