IMPORTANTS OF NEEDS ASSESEMENT IN PLANNING A HEALTH PROMOTION PROGRAM
A community health assessment is also known as as a Community Health Need Asssessment(CHNA) which refers to a state,tribal,local or territorial health assessment. It is very important for a health promotion program are as following,
It means a good community needs assessment is very important to identify the actual problems and needs of the community.So that the health promotion team can meet their needs through the health promotion programs.
2. Improve public awareness
There are many health promotion programs for the piblic but the main problem is most of the peoples are not aware of that and they can't utilize it properly.So if they get an awareness about the same then the public participation can be improved.
3.Improve the professional health care
The health need assessment helps us to understant the needs and also helps to improve the health care by providing a good care for the patients based on their needs.
