Why is the study of sociology important? Do you see any connections between changing social norms and the larger, global issues that face us today? Do you believe the current dynamics of our social reality have made for a better world for our children than that defined by our own parents and grandparents? If so, how? If not, what do you consider to be the most significant social changes to threaten our current way of life?

A) Study of sociology is an essential today. its study of human behaviour, development, culture, structure and functioning of a society. The present world is suffering from many problems. That can be solved thgrough scientific study of the society. That is the reason for study of sociology is imporatant in society.

B) there are connection between changing social norms due to global issues related to pandemic disease like covid 19. Due to this we have changed some of our norms and cultures, behavior. Eg:shake hands for welcoming, we are not suppose to be use these activities as a part prevention of covid 19. Norms can be changed even after the discusion or meeting with the society people for their wellbeing. Norms can change according to the environment, situation, culture in which they are found and peoples behaviour also change accordingly.

C) yes, current dynamics of our social reality have made for a better world for our children. A new born infant did not enter the world with the ability to respond to everything in our environment. The social norms influencing others to take care of a child to survive. Then he began to learn what to expect from others. As the child grew up he will understand the social norms expected by their peer groups. He will be a better human being. He will also follow rules and regulations in his society.
