What does unethical conduct mean? Words limit 220?
Every organisation or institution has a code of conduct. This
code of conduct outlines the guidelines pr provide framework for
conducting oneself at the workplace.
The healthcare system comprises of patients, their family,
healthcare workers and the caregivers. Every healthcare worker
conducts an ethical behaviour that enables the employees to work in
coordination with each other, respect the dignity and rights of the
patients.
An unethical conduct is defined as the behaviour that involves
practices which are unethical. Any conduct by the employee or
employer that causes harm to the client, violates his rights,
discriminates the patient on the basis of religion, caste,
ethnicity, colour or gender is termed as unethical conduct. Any act
such as abusing the patient verbally or physically are also
considered as unethical conduct. Practices that prevent the client
to use his rights or violates the patient privacy and security are
also considered unethical conduct.
