Take a position and explain in which ways the AEC industries have or have not adequately addressed the topic of ethics. Next, explain how the ethical codes in the AEC industries compare (similarities and differences) with those of other professional industries.
Architectural, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industries have a bad name of maintaining some degree of low ethical standard in their work. The very definition of professional code of conduct through required more in this industry because people trust them and assume that they have done their duty with full of honestly and diligently. Let’s say some one has given contract for construction of a home. It is assumed that the quality of material will be standard, and it should last for minimum 99 years.
