Architectural, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industries have a bad name of maintaining some degree of low ethical standard in their work. The very definition of professional code of conduct through required more in this industry because people trust them and assume that they have done their duty with full of honestly and diligently. Let’s say some one has given contract for construction of a home. It is assumed that the quality of material will be standard, and it should last for minimum 99 years. During the time of project delivery there is not any standard procedure to know that the building will be last for 99 years. It is the trust entrusted on the contractor, engineers and architecture. Here apart from quality ethics play a crucial role. But we have seen how ACE industries professional have not live up to the ethics standard reposed by the people. If we compare the professional ethics of other industries, then I will say that education industry has more ethics because the teacher know that they are making the future generation of the society to prosper and ethical.
