In hardwiring innovation culture, how can healthcare leaders have provided training and holding all staff accountable in promoting high-quality care?
The healthcare industry is undergoing digital and technological transformation at a steady pace and keeping up with innovation can make a difference in the progress of the healthcare industry. Healthcare leaders can provide training and promote staff accountable in promoting high-quality care by:
1. Creating
opportunities: Innovation can be delivered and
integrated by giving the staff opportunities o develop skills and
critical thinking wheere they can tackle the healthcare related
problems they face and come up with innovative solutions on support
from healthcare leaders.
2. Monitoring
progress: The leadership can monitor treams and
individuals by requesting feedback and resolving hindrances to
promote high quality care through discussions, meetings and
reviews. Once the staff has time to evaluate and come up with
better implementation and integration of the innovation we can
ensure the quality and safety standards accountability too.
3. Adapting to
change: One of the makor obstacles to
accountability in promotion of high quality healthcare solutions is
proper training, skill development and implemetation of the
innovation in daily healthcare delivery so that the staff are able
to get used to chnage and then slowly get efficient with the same.
Once the staff accountability and requests are discussed we can
improve accountability in the long term.
4. Sharing and
appreciation: If and when the innovation is
presented we can ensure it is appreciated by support and guidance
by the leadership so that we can ensure the innovation is upto
healthcare standards and if it lacks we can motivate and reconsider
the same upon resolution of the lacunae. By showing confidence in
the ideas and innovation the leadership can set a trend that
promotes innovation and help deliver high quality care.
