Evaluate and discuss any limitations of management approaches to motivation. Construct an alternative model, or formulate a plan, that describes how you would resolve these limitations and increase motivation.
Three are some limitations of motivation. According to the theory of motivation, two factors affect motivation. These two theories are Maslow's Theory of Hierarchy of Needs and Frederick Herzberg's Two-Factor theory. Generally workers are motivated by the things that they do kot have. Beaides, they are also motivated by the matters that they do not expect generally.
In the work house it is found that there is no proper harmony in the people. They feel that it is really a tough and difficult to attend the work place. Without motivation, the company should take both the theories- to morivate them. There arw limutains and the pmpa h ideo.
However, for motivating the workers, the management may take the following steps:
Compensation: The management may arrange to compensate the workers and it motivates the workers. The workers should be motivated if they are given compensation for any illness or injure. If the company takes more responsibilities of the workers, then the workers are benefitted and they feel that the management is sympathetic to them. So the relationship between management and the woekers is strengthened with compensation.
Upliftment: The process of upliftment is also a major motivator that quicken the work process and brings rapid growth. There must be clear policy of the promotion in the office. The upliftment or promotion should be dependent on the skill and performance. They should be given priority. The management must maintain equality in the emplyees.
Arranging party: The company should arrange party so that all the employees can meet and it increases their relations and their commitment to the work is increased. They are free with each other. They feel a team work and harmony in the employees is also increased.
Incentives: The company should give incentives to the employees and it should distribute a particular part of profit in the employees. It motivates them and they work with enthusiasm.
