I am of the opinion that Motivation can be affected by management

Why the management motivates the workers

The management needs to motivate the workers in order to raise or increase their performance levels this will translate to increased output or productivity. It also leads to the accomplishment of the company goals.

There are several ways in which the management can motivate their workers some of them include;

Improving communication- the managers can improve how they communicate to their subordinates by encouraging positive communication. This can be through for example, having one on one talk with the employees and not only relying on emails.

Valuing individual contributions- the managers can for example emphasis to the employees the importance of their role that in helping to achieve the company's goals. This will make the employees feel valued and take pride in their job.

Promotion- the management can reward the most performing or productive employee through promoting them. This will make the other workers to work harder in order for their extra effort to be recognized.

Personally, my source of motivation is to earn more money in the form of rewards such as bonus. The management can ensure they reward their employees in the form of commission or bonuses when they achieve a certain pre-determined goal.

role of management in promoting performance, results, success.

Drive accountability- the management develop goals of the company and share them with the rest of the employees. Those in management positions should demonstrate what the workers are expected to do in their daily routines and how their actions impact the organization's success.

Create focus- the management should narrow down to a specific number of goals so as to not to divert the focus of the workers. After setting the goals, they can now track their progress to know whether they are headed in the right direction.

Provide leadership- the management should provide leadership to the rest of the workers by providing directives which ensure the operations in the workplace run smoothly and efficiently.

For many, the idea of 'accounting regulation' is a fairly boring, mundane topic. It is something that exists. We are aware of accounting standards, we need to follow them. In some senses, the idea of accounting regulation is effectively taken-for-granted. There has, however, been a growing research focus on the International Accounting Standards Board (the IASB, how they operate, what they do and how they do it). I, for example, have published a couple of papers this year on activities...
