Vital signs monitoring is first priority. This will provide vital information about the vital organs functions. Followed by which, monitor the oxygen saturation in the body with a pulse oxymetery. Oxygen saturation is also a vital sign which provides information about the oxygen concentration in body. An arterial blood gas study to be conducted to identify acid base imbalance and then go for oxygen delivery to keep the saturation more than 93 Percentage. This will ensure adequate oxygenation of body cells. The ordered medication to be administered, and then begin with IV Fluids. Finally once the patient is stable a chest x-ray can be taken to evaluate the lungs.
