can our innate immunity be boost?

Solutions

Expert Solution

No it is not needed to boost our innate immunity system.

Explanation: Immunity is a type of human defence mechanism which protect our body from any foreign invaders (bacteria, virus, fungi etc.). Immunity is divided into two type as Innate and Adaptive.

A s we know that our complement system (cllular and humoral ) is active all the time. It means it function all the time from any pathogenic attack. Various bacteria and viruses are attacking to our body in a single day but we are unaware of it. In some situation our body temperature also increases but we dont care because there is our first line of defence(innate immunity ) is active all the time. So if we boost up our innate immunity,  as it is a type of non specific and it also do not have any long lasting memory for specific pathogen so in this condition due to its boosting we can feel fever, unwell sneezing , cough as well as depression all the time . It is because various microorganisms which are present in our environment ar attacking to our body so if we boost up our innate immune system so it will show the symptoms of fever, depression and unwellness all the time which is not good. So we dont want to boost our innate immunity .
