CHAIN OF INFECTION
It means a series of event has to happen to enable germs in this section to cause infection in a person
RESERVOIR
It means a place where microorganisms can survive.multiply and await transfer to a susceptible host.The place can be a person a patient or a member of staff but it t can also be any part of the surrounding area of health care settings ,furnishing,in the patients room and the equipment we use in health care.
PORTAL OF EXIT
The pathways by which the micro organisms which the micro organisms leave the body.A health care workers comes along and touches the commode ,and some of germs move into her hands.it means the germs are able to move commode from another place.
MODE OF TRANSMISSION
It means how the germ moveor spread from one place to another.it occur by the nursess hands is contaminated by touching contaminated instruments.
