Unemployment is one of the socio-economic problems which acts as a hurdle for economic growth. In the US economy unemployment rate when compared to Carrefour, a French multinational corporation that has about 9900 company-owned and franchise stores in the retail sector which acts as the second-largest retailer in the world. In the USA at the current condition due to the pandemic, there is greater shock towards employment status with the unemployment rate dropped to 11.1% in June 2020. As carrefour is a giant retailer it offers about 19000 different product which helps in global expansion but it has shrunk the employment opportunity in almost all the sectors which made people lose jobs as they offered product at a lower price because they could save money due to much human resource was not required like is not planning anything fancy as they have improved space for traditional butchers and organic goods which in turn change the global economy. Therefore Carrefour gives support to tackle social exclusion and long-term unemployment so it can enhance best practices. Here is the objective of carrefour they had to create special status by hiring long-term unemployed people which made a new structure into account needs of territories as well as employee's proficiencies.
