1.Why would it be helpful for a manger, who may be working in only one department, to understand what everyone else does?

In health care organisation there are different functional areas are there such as clinical, physician organisation, nursing, HR, finance, marketing and strategy, environment of care and other departments for the smooth running of the organisation. To monitor and to get things done it is effective for the manager to work in one specific area or department to understand all the people or workers working in various department, Right person for the right job is key for the success of the organisation. One head for one team can get things done in an effective manner and coordinating the work, span of control, delegation of authority, supervising, controlling and motivation to the workers are possible. To understand the nature of work in a specific functional department and the workers goal in that particular functional department can leads to successful leadership. Health care organisations need more careful work in all functional departments and managers responsibility to understand the peoples work accordingly to allocate and motivate workers to get efficient work. There may be misunderstanding between the teams if one manager is working more than one department. Conflict between the group may lead to big issued in the organisation.

In case of failure of the primary operating system the health care operating system should have a plan for back up like expernal storage, servers and most equiped syatems to back up the data of their patients. providing proper treatment is very important hence maintaining the information is a very big task in health care organisation.

Utility systems the director/engineering is responsible for maintenance of utility systems. They have to take corrective measures and take decision regarding the prevention of maintenance operating system.
