MD means doctor of medicine and DO means doctor of osteopathic medicine. MD and DO are similarly educated and certified doctors.
MD doctors focus on treatment of disease.They prescribe allopathic drugs while DO doctors generally focus on full body healing with or without traditional medication.
MD doctors diagnose diseases using various tests or procedures and prescribe allopathic medicines. On other hand, DO doctors treat patients by internal medicine means they focus on to know patient's life style, family and other things for better informs their medical treatments. These both doctors have much more similar training.
