Personal Use of work equipment should not be allowed for the reasons:
According to accounting principle Business entity a company's business and any sort of assets are to be used for company's purpose only and it cannot be used for personal use
Also use of work equipment for personal use will cause a stringent action from the law

Employees should not be allowed to access the internet for personal use even if they are using for their personal e-mail account. Use of Internet for personal use is a serious violation of work ethics when a company is paying an employee for the work to be done then it is the responsibility of the employee to pay utmost diligence towards the work for which he/she is paid for Also while working if a person used Internet for personal use there is much higher chance of errors and also it might cause an upload of work documents which should not have been disclosed publicly. In addition to this there are high chances that from personal emails or SItes some unwanted virus might get downloaded and will cause a serious issues regarding company's important Data. It should be strictly prohibited to use internet for such purpose

Management has all the right to monitor all internet use since each and every employee is liable to work which was assigned to him/her and personal work is to be done in their personal time. And monitoring of Internet by management should not be considered as a threat as they are only monitoring data which is already in awareness of them. Though while I support the monitoring of internet use by management I also support the fact that employees should be warned against the company policies and that every email and every use of internet is being monitored so that no public information can be leaked and emplyee must be aware of the threat that might happen if they use the internet for their personal use. A warning helps in saving the employee from the misuse of internet and personal
