1)Why did you decide a career as a Nurse?
EXAMPLE ANSWER - During my childhood,I met with an accident and Doctor suggested me to take bed rest for 2 months.My leg and hand has fractured I suffer a lot,as my parents were working they were so busy and they appointed a home nurse to take care of me.She was so kind and treated me with full love and affection.I decided to give that love and affection in treating people who suffers from weak health conditions and nursing is a better way to serve people by treating them with care.Above all,knowing that I'm truly making a difference i eopl's lives is what truly makes it all worthwhile.
2)Tell me what you feel your greatest skill as a nurse is...
EXAMPLE ANSWER - I am really proud of ability of lisening to the patient .Nothing frustrates rhem more than feeling as though they're not being heard.Having spent the past 5 years in medical field has shown me that how far listening to the patient makes them comfortable.My recent position included working with patient directly in admissions which meant I am the first person they visit,this give me a responsibility of listening them to alot them with the specialized doctors according to their disease.
3)What do you find the hardest part about being a nurse?
EXAMPLE ANSWER - The hardest part is feeling helpless.While it's my job to provide as much care and comfort as medicallu possible,there are some times when you just can't do more.Seeing someone in pain or feeling miserable and knowing that nothing you can do to helpis the most difficult thing.
4)Why are you the best nursing candidate for this position?
EXAMPLE ANSWER - I've been working as a Registered Nurse for the past eight years and loved everey day of it.Morethan a job it is mu passion and I've used the patient to drive me forward and I make sure to stay abreast on all current advancements in my field.I enjoy the challenges that come withthus job and take every oppourtunity to learn and grow.
5)Why are you leaving your current position?
EXAMPLE ANSWER - While my last job has an oppourtuniy for me to learn and grow at a comfortable pace in a smaller enivironment.But now I'm looking for new challenges and oppourtunities to continue expand my knowledge in a larger ,hospital based enivironment like this one here.

Talk about a conflict within your healthcare team.What was the conflict and how did you handle it?
SAMPLE ANSWER - The healthcare department has alotted our team in treating with 5 older people who are in coma.Our team consists of five members ecah one is taking care of one patient.Unfortunately on of our team member has met with an minor accident and is under treatment which is for 4 days.So there occurs a problem in treating his/her patient.And all other has an argument in taking up the responsibility.This can be solved by dividing the work among the 4 members including me makes reduces the responsibility and heps in taking care of the patienty till his/her nurse arrives after recovery

What approch do you take in communicating with people who do not know medical jargon?Give example of a time you explained medical terminology to someone who is not medicallu trained/
SAMPLE ANSWER - Expalining their situation to the patients family or to the patient is more important.Using scientific terms would make them confuse and anxious.Using of common words in situation such as I once had to explain post operative care to a faily whose child had tonsil surgery.I had to use words such as poop instead of bowel movement,Tylenol instead of acetaminophen.

SAMPLE ANSWER - One healthcare system I worked for switched from paper charting to electronic medical records and computerized charting.During this transition ,it was confusing and often overwhelming.I was able to adapt quickly but unfortunately,some of my coworkers were jot able to.
