A healthy enviornment is a fundamental to our economy, and social structure, our homes and neighbourhoods, our ability to create and construct things, and to our health and happiness. we live in a world where water,air,soil, minerals,forest,oceans,agriculture, and livestock are part of our support system .It is important to keep these component must be healthy for our health and longivity of our life. Poor enviornmental quality cause adverse effect on human health.

All the element living or non living ,material or non meterial surrounding the man constitute the enviornment. This explain that health of a man is associated with every element of enviornment. since every change in the enviornmental condition affect the health .clean and safe enviornment can be termed as the basis of good health.The physical, social ,and biological component of external enviornment and internal enviornment play an important role in the development of mental and physical health of an individual.

Climate change

The changes in the climate impact our health condition . the factors which cause major impact on human health are Rising temperature, More extreme weather, increased level of carbon dioxide,and rising sea level.

Pollution

Enviornmental pollution is due to the imbalance in the constituents of enviornment. the cause of pollution may be increasing level of carbon dioxide, in appropriate waste disposal,crowd, slums ,improper drainage or sewage system,spreading of smoke in the air,radioactive materials, insecticides etc.

Deforestation

It is one of the major factor which affect the enviornmental health,people remove the trees in the forest for agricultural, urbanization or for mining activities ,This may leads to climate change,desertification,soil erosion, increased green house gases in the atmosphere. etc.

Disease

The disease occour due to poor enviornment, like lower respiratory infection ,diarrhoea, malaria .

Hazardous waste

Proper disposal of hazardous waste is important to keep the enviornment healthy and to maintain the health of every individual.
