Expert Solution

Today, the whole world is facing a pandamic known COVID-19. Which becames life threatening for all of us.

Immune response shown to COVID 19- Based on study, the immune response shown to COV-19 is two phased. During the non-severe stages, a specific adaptive immune response is required to eliminate the virus. For the development of an endogenous protective immune response at the non-severe stages, the host should be in good health and an appropriate genetic background that elicits specific antiviral immunity. Genetic differences are well-known to contribute to individual variations in the immune response to pathogens. But when a protective immune response occurs then a great distruction to lung tissue occurs which may be fatal if the patient couldn't recover. The damaged cells induce innate inflammation in the lungs that is largely mediated by pro-inflammatory macrophages and granulocytes. Lung inflammation is the main cause of life-threatening respiratory disorders at the severe stage. The cytokine release syndrome also affects the patients with severe conditions.lymphocytopenia is often seen in severe COVID-19 patients, the CRS caused by SARS-CoV-2 virus has to be mediated by leukocytes other than T cells,

Respond to the following: Acquired immune responses are capable of controlling an infection, however, the acquired immune response is controlled itself through different mechanisms. It is primarily activated by a threshold level of antigen that is produced through the defensive action of the innate immune system. Pathogens and antigens interact and cause dendritic cells to activate to become antigen-presenting cells. Then, the antigens are transported to the lymphoid organs by the antigen-presenting cells. After several days, antigen-specific T cells and...
