Which of the following substances is secreted by sweat glands in response to breakdown of proteins and formation of ammonia? which of the following describe the function of the neuron? A.creates electrical impulses B.transmits sensory information C.stores potassium ions
Which of the following statements is a valid conclusion from the experiment above? A. Killed bacteria components can make live bacteria deadly B. Dead bacteria are more deadly than live bacteria C.Protein are dangerous to bacteria and kill them D.Protease enzyme causes live bacteria to become deadly
1. Sweat gland produces urea in response to breakdown of proteins because the proteins are nitrogenous based compounds and on breaking down proteins produces ammonia which is highly toxic for body hence body converts this ammonia into urea after the series of biochemical pathways. The final urea comes out with urine and with sweat. However sweat glands also secret NaCl (salt) with the wate.
2. Neurons are resposible to produce electrical signals which transfer from one place (receiver) to another place (Brain/affector) in the presence of any stimulus which are experienced/felt by the body organs or sensory parts. The generated electrical signals from neurons are also called as action potential.
3. The killed bacterial components such as toxoids and proteins can penetrate the live bacteria cell membranes hence in this situation the live bacteria are exposed towards the protein materials and it becomes known for the live bacteria. Therefore it may be the chance that the live bacteria get resistant towards known proteins and become more deadly (if mutation happens). The chance of mutation is always higher in the bacterial cells due to its simpler and primitive forms of cells. In addition bacterial cell regulation works faster than humans so they get adjusted and become familiar towards the surrounding atmosphere
