The most common types of fermentations are
1. Alcoholic fermentation and
Eg. Ethyl alcohol fermentation: here the end product of the
fermentation is ethyl alcohol.
Yeast and bacterial fermentation are the examples for ethyl alchol
fermentation.
2. Acid fermentation
Eg. Lactic acid fermentation: here the end product of the
fermentation is lactic acid. It occurs most commonly in animal
muscles.
