What are the main ideas of James Baldwin's speech? be specific!
1. James Baldwin was an American essayist, novelist, and playwright who were born in Harlem, New York on august 2, 1924. He was a black man who himself experienced the racism and fighting for the rights of black people.
2. He used to write many novels on various social issues and also about the problem had been faced by him during his life journey.
3. He writes novel, or idea of becoming social activist came after, when he was searching for a job and he got rejected because he was an African American.
4. During that time in America white peoples are the dominating ones and they don’t find black people of their class.
5. After facing a lot during whole life journey as in, being a grandson of slave or having dark skin tone he was decided to help innocent people and he wants to raised his voice against this racial discrimination dominating in America.
6. He believes in equality , and also he was passionate about reading books, novel etc he used to write about his biography and many other social topic he raised that should be highlighted.
7. So the main reason if we can see, then it should be
a. He wants equality among people.
b. Whatever he gone through he don’t want anyone to experience the same.
c. Giving speech is the easiest way of delivering the thoughts directly among people and this is also the way of boosting up the confidence of people who don’t fight for their rights.
