We will choose Pinterest for the given assignment.Pinterest was primarily developed by Ben Silbermann to share the ever increasing flow of knowledge on the world wide web among its userbase. It uses images and GiFs to communicate most of the information among its users.
It serves as a visual discovery tool among its userbase of 175 million people/month. It is quite an astonishing fact that around 80% of these users are females which implies that most of the traffic derived on this site is female. The median age of a Pinterest user is around 40 years however people from all age groups use this website to acquire new updates.
The typical skill set of a pinterest user comes down to "curiosity" and, thereby an underlying interest in sharing the updates on world wide web. Income level of its users ranges from $0 i.e students to $10,000,000 and even more because this website probably serves diffferent purpose for different peoplr and, it does not require a specific age/skillset/income as an eligibility to enter its knowledge pool.
Pinterest, is therefore, a well positioned, visually appealing website that serves all its users with its ever expanding Pins and boards shares.
