Do you think that all health education/promotion majors/minors should be required to take an ethics course while in college? Why or Why not? If you responded yes to the question, do you think that a general ethics course open to all university students would be sufficient, or do you think the course should be specific to the profession? • Yes. every health education should be required to take an ethics course. thi is because
• The medical students should behave ethically as a profession and they should decide when encounter barriers preventing them from fulfilling their professional obligations.
• Nurses and other health care staffs are responsible to provide their patients with the high quality care.
• They are undoubtedly confronted with various ethical challenges in their professional practice, so they should be familiar with ethical codes of conduct and the essentials of ethical decision making.
• Ethical standards may promote the value of cooperation and collaborative work.
• Finally ethical standards in medical care promotes other important moral and social values such as social responsibility, human rights, patients welfare, compliance with the law, SMC's regulations and patients safety.

General ethics course should be open to all univesities to provide a general and acceptable code of behaviour of living in a society.

• Ethics should be taught to all undergraduate as well as graduate students including all issues of values, principles and ethics of a technological society regarding to their national and international levels.
• The study of ethics should also lead one to develop skills in articulating their own values, to provide others with reasons for our actions and give us the means of questioning the values of others.
