Of all the arguments in favor and against Democracy promotion, which do you think is the strongest argument FOR and the strongest argument AGAINST the U.S. promoting democracy abroad?

The strongest argument for the promotion of democracy in other countries by the USA is that the democratic countries are less likely to go in the war and are more inclined towards economic development and public welfare. In the states where there is no democracy, there are many incidences of the human right violation, hiding the information ( such as China in the event of COVID 19) and very high level of corruption that deprives the common public of the right of having the better resources to uplift their lives.

On the other hand, the opponents of spread of democracy by the USA in aborad is that it must be left on the public and citizens of that country to decide whether they want to have the democracy or other forms of the governance, The USA must not indulge and interfere in the internal matters of the other countries. The countries which are democratic are more Incompetent and ignorant as they have to please many parties and stakeholders that delays many decision making and thus democracy is not good to be imposed by the foreign forces.
