Answer: The role of nutrition in relation to holistic view of health as the holistic approach is kind of approach which focus on the nutritional level rather than illness. It includes the observation of the individual diet intake and the nutrients that are being consumed through the particular diet. The nutrition such as vitamins, proteins , fatty acids etc build up the body cell and provides energy to work. It leads to normal functioning of life. The diet should contain sufficient amount of nutrients that meets our daily needs of the body.
The goal of health promotion is to increase the health quality among people as well as individuals. Health promotion includes many methods which provides the platform to enhance the quality of health of people.
The nurse acts as an health educator to impart the knowledge and awareness among the people regarding diseases, treatment as well as preventive measures. Nurse develops techniques to approach the community as well as to enhance the health quality by minimising the risk of the disease or illness. For example, obesity is one of the major reason of the other diseases such as cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes etc. To prevent the risk of the other disease, nurse develop techniques to approach people and create awareness among them about the healthy lifestyle and maintaining healthy weight.
