2. Describe how you save a file with a new filename in Excel.

Expert Solution

After you set up a workbook and save it, you can call it by another name. Saving an existing file with another name retains the original, uncontaminated copy of the file. You could create an expenditure report or budget at the workplace , for example, and then save subsequent changes to different filenames. Or you may be using different versions of a workbook to forecast or model. You can then easily delete the versions of a file which you don't need.

Click the File menu Tab, and select Save As. The Save As dialog shows up with the file name highlighted in the File Name tab.

If you want to allocate a completely new filename, you will start typing the name you want. Your text overwrites the name already in the file.

If you wish to change the current filename, click in the File Name box and edit the name displayed

(Optional) Click the drop-down arrow next to the Save In folder name, and move to a different drive or tab.

Click the Save button. The Save As dialog box closes and the new filename is displayed on the title bar.

Use the following filename: yourlastname.FIL242Assignment3; there will be one file submission, an Excel spreadsheet. ALL calculations must use Excel functions or Excel formulas. For example, bond prices can be computed using Excel’s PV function. All calculations must use cell references rather than typing in a number into a formula. For consistency in spreadsheet design—use the template provided in the assignment. NOTE the spreadsheet template has THREE tabs—one tab for each question. 1. Use python. redact_file: This function takes a string filename. It writes a new file that has the same contents as the argument, except that all of the phone numbers are redacted. Assume that the filename has only one period in it. The new filename is the same as the original with '_redacted' added before the period. For instance, if the input filename were 'myfile.txt', the output filename would be 'myfile_redacted.txt'. Make sure you close your output file.

1. Write a program that prompts the user for a filename, then reads that file in and displays the contents backwards, line by line, and character-by character on each line. You can do this with scalars, but an array is much easier to work with. If the original file is: abcdef ghijkl the output will be: lkjihg fedcba Need Help with this be done in only PERL. Please use "reverse"
