A company that manufactures furniture increasingly finds that their workforce speaks Spanish fluently but not English. Management does not know Spanish and this creates communication problems.
Communication can develop and present possible solutions to the problem(s) presented.
As per my opinion , few of the mangagement workers can learn spanish and few of the workforce can be offered english classes. All of this also depends on the clientale as which of the language their client knows. According to that they can take decisions on learning these two languages.One can acquire teachers for few hours to just learn simple vocabulary as to understand the other person. It also depends on the location of the company.
However good communiaction can improve problem solving and thus helps in decision making. Even to acquire a client one needs to be vocal as there is a need to maintain a balance between a good listener as well as speaker.Communication is the key.
Another solution can be that company can hire few bilingual employees. As if the higher authorities knows only spanish so there is not always the case that they do direct contact the workers , so the hiring of few bilingual employees can solve this problem in this scenerio. Bilingual employees are readily available and can be cost effective too.
