Many communities or group of people are at risk during a natural disaster or man made disaster. One such community is the population living in coastal region.They are prone to dangers of attack from tsunami or anyother cyclones. The people of the coastal area are mainly dependent on the fish marketing to earn their living.
They are usually Lower to middle class families. If any problems in the sea that restrict fishing will affect them profoundly. The main disaster that affect these people are tsunami, cyclone, excessive rain fall.
Measures to prevent damages during disaster :give red alert if there is probability of any disaster and tell the people to ready for managing the condition. Create relief camp and shift the people there before the arrival of disaster so that mortality rate can be reduced. Arrange food, water and other essential items for daily use in the relief camp.
Give free ration and tax relaxation to the affected family. Support them financially, socially and mentally.
