CLASSIFICATION OF CORONAVIRUS----

It is Discussed in hierarchy starts with kingdom to species

Kingdom- orthonavirae 》phylum- Pisuviricota》Class--pisiviricetes》Order- nidovirales 》family-- coronaviridae 》subfamily- orthocoronavirinae 》genus- 4 types present ( Aplha , beta, gamma, delta )》 species-- (depending upon the genus the names changes)

Also the realm of coronavirus -- Riboviria.

Coronavirus is pleomorphic virus having single stranded RNA. It has fours major proteins - spike, envelope, membrane, nucleocapsid. Coronavirus have a appearance like crown.

Now the species depending upon genus-

1) Genus : Alphacoronavirus having species like- human coronavirus 229E, NL63, miniopterus bat coronavirus HKU8, rhinolopus bat coronavirus HKU2.

2) Genus : Betacoronavirus having species like - Human coronavirus OC43, human coronavirus HKU1,middle east respiratory syndrome related coronavirus, bat coronavirus HKU5, severe acute respiratory syndrome related coronavirus, HKU4.

3) Genus: gammacoronavirus having species like -- avian coronavirus.

4) Genus : deltacoronavirus having species like -- bulbul coronavirus HKU11.

Genus Alphacoronavirus , betacoronavirus having a tendency of infection causing in mammals. And genus gammacoronavirus, delta coronavirus having a tendency of infection causing in birds.

THE ABOVE ARE THE SIMILAR VIRUSES.

Prompt: Coronavirus (Covid-19) is an enveloped virus. Enveloped viruses like Covid-19 are referred to as being “enveloped” because their virus particle is surrounded by a layer that resembles a cell membrane. The “Corona” part of coronavirus comes from the appearance of the virus particles under an electron microscope. Corona refers to “crown” or “wreath.” Proteins that stick out from the surface of the virus (called spike proteins) are responsible for the crown-like appearance. Questions 1 and 2 I need help...
