Climate change has a positive and negative impact on agriculture and the economy . Some of the positive impacts are reduced frequency of frost damage, reduced damage to peas and potatoes, and the new flooded regions are utilized for fisheries. Loss of topsoil, crop yield decreasing are some of the negative effects and according to projection cereal productivity will reduce by 40% by 2100. According to the world bank, India by 2040 would see a decrease in the yield due to heat stress. According to Stern Review, North India would see a 70% reduction in food production which would disbalance the food economy of India. According to Kavi Kumar in his paper highlighted the fact that an increase in 2C temperature and a 7% change in precipitation would result in a 9% decline in annual farm net revenue and a doubling of CO2 would decline GDP by 1.4 to 3%. Raymond Guiteras in his paper estimates impacts impact of climate change on Indian Economy using a 40-year district-level data and the findings have been the following
