Our pediatric population faces many different health concerns that did not exist when we were children. What specific health concern do you see frequently in your geographic area and practicum setting? How have you and your preceptor addressed this issue when it presents in your clinic?
Pediatric population-specific health concerns we see frequently in our area and in practical settings include many illnesses and needs like genetic anomalies, congenital defects, malnutrition, environmental diseases, infections, traumas, violence, poverty, exploitation, nutrition deficiency, prematurity, limited access to health care. pediatric safety and quality of care are important and it is complex and dynamic issues. it needs a general understanding and timely care. it needs evidence-based care in specific areas of pediatric care and finding adverse events, type of harm, medical errors, and near-miss and to promote safety. eliminating poverty and racial and ethnic disparities in health care ensure equal health care access. standard care between interdisciplinary team and collaboration efforts improve pediatric health outcome. The national initiative's mission eliminates the gap between health care for the children. an organization committed to providing necessary resources best practice to avoid disease symptoms, monitoring and controlling diseases with available interventions in all hospital settings that serve children living with life-threatening conditions. nurses and receptors' adequate special skills and knowledge and continuous training provide available information that sure patient safety and errors and harms, threats and malpractice.
