Hurricane Katrina health concerns: the hurricane katrina is a natural disaster like any disaster this hurriacn brought many health concerns for humans because the hurrican brought with it flood waters,the loss of power, little livable space left, and a breeding ground for mosquitoes this has caused molds to grow, endotoxins levels to rise, little clean drinking water, spoiled food, and by al this caused many health problems ( asthma, gastrointestinal distrubances etc), in addition to the physical health hurrican katrina devasting levels of mental illness, when thousands housed in the Astrodome they are many health issues and they are physical and psychological, the physical health issues are non communciable disease, anemia, hypertension,communicable disease like infectious hepatitis, parasite infections, malaria,etc the mental health issues are poor mental healthlike post traumatic stress disorders , anxiety, depression etc.
