Affordable Care Act(ACA) impacts reimbursement policy significantly and changing healthcare in enormous way. Due to influx of patients’ providers will witness rise in service request which can definitely boost revenue but at the same time runs the risk of overloading physician practices. It will be challenging to pay reimbursement to the payers and if existing facilities will not be able to timely reimburse then there will be chaos in the system. It will also be challenging for the insurance companies to finalize the reimbursement rate for providers taking exchange plans. Some providers may face trouble in keeping pace with their current patient numbers.
