Advantage of this: it recognizes the limitation placed on decision makers. Disadvantage: This model still assumes a consensus can be reached on goals and objectives

People usually decide in a rational manner based on the available information. Simon bridged the concept of decision between the rationality and the human behaviour. According to the hypothesis, Decision makers are looking for alternative choices before the judgement. They optimizing the use of all the alternatives in the decision.
According to Bounded Rationality Model, individuals are limiting their options in decision making in an organization. They usually accept for the first alternative without analysing the other alternative. The decision maker satisfies with the minimum criteria. For example, the healthcare organization does not notice about of widespread of disease breakout and providing services on other geographical areas. The good decision maker has to provide service where in need. The evidence-based practices are following in the health sector for maximum health outcomes.
Regardless of the boundaries, the healthcare system has to provide services worldwide.It is challengeable to the policy makers to establish effective policy irrespective of the rationality. The decision has to meet the individual goal of high quality care. They have to keep in mind the various factors that influence the decision making. Generally, group discussion are arranged within the unit of health sector to utilize the wide variety of knowledge in the decision making.
