Health care is the maintenance or improvement of health via the prevention,diagnosis ,treatment ,recovery or cure of disease ,illness ,injury and other physical and mental.impairments in people. Access to health care varies across countries, communities and individuals.The delivery of health care depends mainly on groups of trained professionals and para professionals coming together as interdisciplinary team.Care is delivered through primary ,secondary and tertiary approaches.

Many practices of complementary and alternative medicines are prevalent world wide along with Allopathy medicine.They are

1. Traditional alternative medicine :Ayurveda,acupuncture,homeopathy, naturopathy ,chinese or oriental medicine.
2. Body. : Chiropractic and osteopathic medicine.massage .Body movement therapies .Tai Chi,Yoga
3. Diet and herbs: Dieltary supplements, Herbal medicine,Nutrition /diet
4. External Energy: Electromagnetic therapy,Reiki,Qigong
5. Mind : meditation,Biofeedback,Hypnosis
6. Senses: Art,dance and music ,visualisation and guided imagery.

Risk factors and illnesses affect Asian Americans.

Asian Americans are less likely to experience few health problems relative to other minority groups.Asian American patients rate their health care poorly.Asian Americans are at high risk of hepatitis B ,tuberculosis ,cardiovascular disease and lung cancer.Cardiovascular disease and associated risk factors among Asian Americans are high blood pressure,cigarette smoking,obesity and Diabetes mellitus.

Asian Americans tend to avoid visiting the hospital unless absolutely necessary,so many infections remain unnoticed until they develop serious symptoms ,and by then the infection may have led to cancer.Asian Americans are unlikely to receive their regular round of vaccinations ,mammograms and screening.

Many Asian Americans also face physical barriers to health carebaccess.Lack of transportation prevents many individuals from seeking out health care that may be further away fron their residence.

Furthermore ,these appears to be an additional language barrier.
