It is very important goal because it targets health goal. Acheiving universal health coverage. Essential health care services. Safe, effective, quality and affordable as well essential medicines. Therefore some of the important pointers are:
Ensure healthy lives and promote well being for all the age.
Many people are living healthier lives than in past decade. People are still suffering needlessly from preventable diseases.
Reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health.
Maternal mortality health has declined women use to die due to complications during pregnancy and childbirth but it has been reduced a lot over the period of 2012-2017.
Global adolecent birth rate has been reduced.
Maternal morality rates in sub Saharan Africa has also been reduced by 35percent.
Health system and funding
Globally people spendt atleast one tenth of their income in for health services.
Infectious diseases and non communicable diseases:
Globally HIV has declined.
Diseases like tuberculoisis Hepatitis Bhai declined among children under 5 from 4.7 %.
Unsafe water, unsafe sanitation, malnutrition are still dominating factors causing death.
People are also dying due to chronic diseases also.
In 2016,household and air pollution led to some 7 million deaths world wide
Sustainable health goal 4
This goal ensure quality education. Especially girls and boys must have primary education and that to free schooling by 2030.it also aims in providing equal access to affordable vocational training, to remove gender and wealth disparities.
Some facts and figures.:
One in four girls developing countries is not in school.
6 out 10 children are not achieving a minimum level of proficiency in reading maths.
91% enrollment in primary education in developing countries has reached 91 %.
