A B2B (Business to Business) is a company that offers products and services to other businesses rather some individual consumers. Unlike traditional business models, B2B business model is as complex as it is popular in the modern world. Basically, B2B companies can be acknowledged as being supportive to other business in boosting their sales and helping them flourish. Clearly these are quite different from B2C companies (Business to consumers). In social media driven world, B2B companies are excited to make their presence known and expand their business by using different marketing strategies that are found quite effective in increasing and attracting customers.

Examples of B2B companies include
FedEx: Being a courier delivery company, it comes under the category of B2B company. Naturally in order to flourish, this company make use of the social media platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Pinterest etc for variety of reasons.
One of which is creating brand awareness. Take the example of FedEx's Instagram account, it surfaces around sharing consumer experiences while opening the products. Not only does this showcase their brands, but it helps the business to want to join in so as to expand their businesses.

Intel: Being a multinational technology company, Intel uses social media platforms to engage with customers by making relationships, connections and creating user friendly contents. In fact, one of the most effective tools to attract more business and thereby sales to understand the customers.
Intel seems to understand this as it engages in creating contents such short videos and clips of events and posting them on social media so that customers who have not watched can get just the taste and smell so that they are lured in. It is one of the smart marketing strategies to go by.

Oracle: Being another technology based company, Oracle is a classic example of expanding communication through social media. Most of its social media profile revolves around making customers aware of the transparency and efficiency of its business in order to persuade other business to choose it for doing business.
In fact, one of the important feature of good marketing is to establish a brand name and creating its reputation. Oracle seems to do just this by posting about company's dealings about different events and conferences involving its employees. It establishes itself not only just a customer friendly company, but employee friendly too. Hence, it gives more credibility to the company in terms of attracting other businesses towards working with it.

Each B2B company engages in different marketing strategies to attract customers on social media. There is no doubt that social media platforms are effectively helping the B2B companies in fulfilling and achieving their business  goals.
