It is also known as the workplace choice law, is a law that provide workers the right to choose whether they would like to join union in their workplace or not. and it also makes it optional for workers already in unionized workplaces to pay union dues and other membership fees that are required for for union representation. Texas is a right-to-work state. which means that under texas labor code a person cannot be denied for employment because of membership or non-membership in alabor union or any other organisation. Texas laws are actualy beneficial and protection for employees. they protect the employees from force, threats, intimidation, or coercion for choosing to either participate or not in aunion.
And the most important point is that like if your employee has entered into a collective bargaining agreement with a union which requires employees to make payments to, or on behalf of , a labor union under agreement as a condition of employment, then your employer may be in Violation of Texas right-to-work laws.
