Stress among healthcare professionals ans especially nurses ia an imporatant aspect that could influence the health and wellbeing of the nurses and the quality that they provide. The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of psychological methods and coping techniques on the level of stress among healthcare professionals .The research hypothesis -there will be a significant statistical difference in the stress level before and after practicing psychological methods and management techniques. For general research participants should be divided into two groups by using the method of randomisation and by doing the comparison studies by handling questionnaires to them.

Types of stress:There are three types of stress-acute,episodic and chronic stress.

1.ACUTE stress:This is the most common type of stress that may come from demands and pressures of the recent past and the nearest future.Because of the short term, acute stress does not do extensive damage.

2.Episodic stress:acute stress that comes frequently and often observed in people with Type A personality -too competetive, aggressive and demanding.

3.Chronic stress:Chronic stress destroys bodies, mind and lives. It's the stress of poverty,of dysfunctional families of being trapped in an unhappy marriage or in a despised job or career of the never ending troubles.

One more type of stress is Post-Traumatic stress(PTSD)-it can occur in people who have experienced or witnessed a life threatening event such as a natural disasater, serious accident, terrorist accident, sudden death ,war, violent personnel assault etc.

These kinds of stress can be seen in healthcare professionals especially in nurses.Overload at work one of the main causes of stress ,nurses work schedule ,ay effect the patients outcome..At the hospitals where have been reported schedules with long work hours, the chance of occurence of pneumonia deaths were greater and lesser w more likely to occur when nurses have limited breaks. In most of the hospitals when nurses reported about working while sick the mortality rate occurence were detected for patients with congestive heart failure. The under staffing at the medical sector leads to increase of timing in duties. The canadian study showed that patients can be in danger when nurses are interrupted during their work. The fatigue is a consequence of workload and is a factor that cause main stress. It has a main negative impact on decison making, problem solving and other aspects that include patient care.
