Describe the pharmacodynamics phase. Include onset, peak, duration, peak and trough levels.
Pharmacodynamics phase:
The pharmacodynamics phase can described the drug action mechanism by which a drug molecule causes its effect on the body.
Onset Phase: According to the pharmacodynamics the onset phase explains a specific action of a drug takes to reach a therapeutic response in a particular time after the drug administration.
Peak Phase: According to the pharmacodynamics the peak phase can describes the time it takes for a drug to reach its maximum therapeutic response (highest blood or plasma concentration).
Duration Phase: According to the pharmacodynamics the duration period can describe the length of time the drug concentration is sufficient to elicit a pharmacologic effect.
Trough level: In the pharmacology and medicine a trough concentration or a trough level is the lowest concentration the drug reached before the administration of next dose.
