You are the public information officer of a busy health organization, and you have been asked by the executive director to train key personnel in the organization on effective media communication. Prepare a curriculum for the training. Include why healthy relationships with the media are important, how they can be established, and tips to communicate effectively.
Concept of health refers to personal & communal well-being covering physical and mental concerns. There is a strong impact of social media in clinical and public health system.
Public health agencies & other organizations can use social media to publicize effective health informations by increasing information sharing in the society.
On the other had social media can also be problematic in spreading rumors related to health events and health crises. Hence it is advisable to have a well control on media communication in the society time to time.
In this chain there is need of healthy relationship with media and as health information officer there should be a core responsibility to train his/her team according the significance of this concern.
