Oxytocin increases the force, frequency and duration of uterine contractions. It is a  hormone secreted by neurosecretory cells in the paraventricular and supraoptic nuclei of the hypothalamus that stimulates contraction of the smooth muscle fibres in pregnant uterus and contractile cells around the ducts of mammary glands.During delivery it enhances contraction of smooth muscle cells in the wall uterus. After delivery it stimulates milk ejection from the mammary glands in response to the mechanical stimulus provided by a suckling infant. It induce or augments labour and promotea milk letdown and facilitates breast feeding. When compared to females ,in males the function of oxtocin is not clear and it is essential role in moving sperm.

Oxytocin plays important role in close connection with other neurotansmitter networks .It helps helps to overcome from stress and regulates emotional and behavoural patterns.

Make sure the data is sorted by category (male-at-rest, female at-rest, etc.). Use the Data Analysis tools of Excel to construct 95% and 99% confidence intervals for all 8 categories of the sorted quantitative variables. Excel will calculate the margin of error given as the “confidence interval” in the output. Use this margin of error to create your 8 confidence intervals by both adding and subtracting it from the sample mean (calculated in unit 3). This creates a range of...
