to suck or feed.

the feeding process easier.
DENTAL PROBLEMS
- Cleft palate affects the child teeth very much in which the
child may have extra teeth or small teeth.
- Tooth development affected, if the cleft extends to the
uppergum.
SPEECH PROBLEMS
- As the palate is used in forming sound ,the cleft palate may
affects the development of normal speech of a child.
- So after the cleft palate is repaired, there should be needs a
speech therapy.
EAR INFECTIONS
- Cleft palate also affect the middle ear of new born
