What effect would a meal containing a high proportion of fat have on the absorption of ASA?
Effects of high fat diet in a meal:
Fat supplies energy and transports nutrients.adult don't really have to worry about eating too little; however,children need about 30%fat in their diets.
The fats which are called omega_6 and Omega _3 fats are essential fats,because we only get them through the foods we eat.essential fatty acids are required by the body to function normally.
The worst saturated fat is called a Trans fatty acid.they are found in packaged goods listed on the label as partially hydrogenated or hydrogenated oils.
Effects and development:
Fats are metabolized into what are called prostaglandins,of which there three main types:pg1,pg2,pg3.omega 6 omegaand omega3 fats convert into pg2and pg3 respectively and produce an anti-inflammatory effects on the body.
Eat too much saturated and Trans fat and not enough of the essential Omega 3fats. Such diet can also be thrmbogenic i.e, that fat will tend to form lipid particles in your blood after meals ,which could lead to blood clots,meaning heart attack or Stroke.
Other effects are:
High cholesterol,breat and prostate cancer,diabetes,arthritis,cardiovascular disease,PMS,headaches.
