Environmental health refers to basic health which is related to physical, social, chemical, biological well being, It is a branch of public health. It works more in preventing rather than curing.
According to me the most important aspect of environmental health is basic sanitation. The basic sanitation needs to be maintained as it is prevents many diseases and promotes healthy living, the public needs to be provided with treated water and proper cleanliness of the sewage and proper dumping of the human excreta, it is very important to properly dispose human excreta and if it is not properly disposed it can lead to many life threatning diseases such as typhoid, cholera, hepatitis, and polio.
Other than that the environment should be cleaned, the garbage should be burned or disposed off, and the stored water should be removed in order to prevent from any vector brone disease such dengue and malaria, it is very common in a developing countries like India and Pakistan.
The public needs to be notified about the basic hygienes that needs to be followed such as hand washing, covering foods, etc.
